(Q) When did you start boxing?
I had my first amateur fight when I was eleven and I turned professional in May 2016, I had my debut fight on September 2nd 2016.
(Q) How were you introduced to boxing?
I got introduced to boxing by watching Ricky Hatton on the TV with my dad, he inspired me to start the sport in the first place.
(Q)Talk me through a training week with you?
Monday I always start the day off at 5:00am with a long run in the morning followed by a two hour training session with my trainer Kieran Farrell.
On a Tuesday I have another run in the morning followed by a strength and conditioning class in the evening.
On a Wednesday, Thursday ,Friday I have same routine, I will start the day off with a another run followed by a intense training session at The Peoples Gym Ltd in Haywood.
Every Saturday morning I meet up with the other professionals at the gym and we all exercise and train together, Sunday I workout as normal.
(Q) Have you had to overcome any problems or injuries within your boxing career?
No I’m very lucky in that sense I’ve had no problems or injuries.
(Q) What is your diet like?
I have to have a very healthy diet; it’s all measured in the correct sizes and portions,
I have porridge every day for breakfast and for dinner I have things like chicken, rice and vegetables.
The protein is really important for me as it builds and repairs muscle and provides me with a good source of energy for my body.
(Q) When is your next big fight?
My next fight is April the 14th at Bowlers in Trafford Park; it’s a step up fight so I will be fighting for six rounds instead of four.
(Q)How are you preparing yourself for it?
I’m starting my camp this week; it involves four weeks of hard fitness and then three weeks on concentrating on sparring and fighting with the head guards on.
Sparring is a time for you AND your opponent to help develop each other's skills by practicing real boxing moves in a real boxing environment. It is not the time for both fighters to try and beat each other up.

The lovely staff from the restaurant brought along so many different types of there famous fried chicken, the staff from Flanagan's can not thank you enough and if you’re a chicken fan you need to check this funky place out.
Yard and Coop is a fantastic restaurant that started from two friends who just really loved fried chicken,
Between them both they have eaten fried chicken all over the world.
They started playing around with our own recipe for buttermilk fried chicken. It took them a while, over a year in fact, of travelling, tasting and testing out spices, marinades and crumbs.
Then they finally got it.
And Yard & Coop was born.
